The name "Café Granada" honors the surname of the Granada family who in the mid-19th century moved on muleback from the municipality of Jericó Antioquía and settled in the territory currently called Vereda La Granja in the municipality of Belalcázar Caldas, there they dedicated themselves to the cultivation of Typica coffee and to date there are some original plantations of this same variety, these are trees that we care for with great dedication and love because they are approximately 80 years old.
