Information
My name is Rolando Arturo Rondón Bonilla, a few years ago I inherited my father's farm. Initially, his activity was livestock, with 70% pastureland. However, agricultural products were also maintained, and one of these represented the remaining 30%. Today, it is the heart of my land. I'm talking about coffee. 5 years ago, I started my productive project with my family, which today I see reflected in the results since I have 17 hectares of coffee. Today, that coffee is in production and is associated with plantain, banana, and timber trees for forest conservation. Together with my family, we have been developing the productive project on the Brisas del Táchira farm. The coffee lots were renovated, and today I am working with varieties such as Geisha, Bourbon Rosado, Monte Claro, Castillo, and Cenicafé, which is carried out with local labor, especially by single mothers. Most of the labor is spent harvesting the cherries and partly sorting them after drying. By doing this, I contribute to the local economy as they support their families and educate their children.
